# Can an analog Voltair be converted to AES and vice versa?

### Scope

This document pertains to the 25-Seven Voltair analog and AES units.

- 2001-00363-000 Analog Processor
- 2001-00457-000 AES Digital Processor

### Converting units?

Unfortunately, an analog Voltair ***cannot*** be converted to an AES Voltair. The same holds true for an AES unit, as it ***cannot*** be converted to analog.

Each Voltair has different hardware inside and even a different chassis, so the different version Voltair desired must be purchased to switch to AES or analog.
