# Changing the preset folder in Omnia Enterprise 9s

### Scope

How to change the preset folder on a server installation.

### Description

In an environment with multiple users on one server the presets should be available for every user. This article shows how to do that.

### Procedure

Login as Administrator on your Omnia Enterprise 9s machine.

Open the folder C:\Program Files\OmniaE9s\

Locate the 'OmniaE9sApp.ini' file.

Open the file with a program like Notepad++ in Administrator mode.

Change the 'ini_folder' value to the desired preset folder and save the file.

Within the same folder go to the 'OmniaE9sScv.ini' file and open it the same way as the file before.

Change the 'ini_folder' value to the desired preset folder and save the file.

Open the folder C:\Users\[your_user_name]\AppData\Local\OmniaE9s

Copy all ini-files and presets to the desired new preset folder.

After you have copied all files enter 'services' into your search field from Windows and press 'Enter'

Search for the 'OmniaE9sSvc' service and press 'Restart' on the left of the window.

After the service restarted all presets will be saved in the same folder regardless of the user.
