Scope
This document covers the process of replacing an overbridge OLED on your iQx console.
The Disassembly Process
Turn iQx console upside down in order to have access to underside. Remove the (13) screws [1301-00077-100] from the bottom pan [1451-00995-100].
Disconnect the Front Panel Cable [1711-00420-100]to J3 of iQx Main PCBA. Note orientation of cable contacts.
The Installation Process
Locate the iQx 10 Channel Over Bridge Extrusion (p/n:1451-00522).
Next, locate iQx Surface Over Bridge Board (p/n:1701-00270) and slide the board into the second slot from the right side to the left side. Start at the end where a cut out extends from edge of metal towards rectangle cut out.
Notice that the ribbon cable attached to the PCB will slide through a cut-out on the bottom of the Over Bridge and fall into a rectangle cut out.
Remove protective film from each OLED display on the iQx Surface Over Bridge Board.
Locate the iQx Overbridge Lens (p/n:1451-00983) and peel back a small portion to reveal the lens orientation of the iQx Logo to ensure proper installation. Once correct orientation is known press the protective covering back over the entire lens.
It is recommended to place a mark on the protective film indication to indicate the correct orientation
Next, turn the Overbridge Lens over and remove the protective covering from this side of the lens.
Insert the Overbridge Lens (p/n:1451-00983) into the Overbridge Extrusion (1451-00522) front slot. iQx logo must be on the right-hand side of the extrusion after installation.
Locate the iQx Over Bridge End Cap Right (p/n:1453-00094) and insert the End Cap into the Overbridge Extrusion right-hand side.
Install Qty. (4) M4 {THRD FRMG} x 16mm PHIL PAN-HD STL Zinc screws (p/n:1301-00095) through the Bridge End Cap and into the Overbridge Extrusion. Securely fasten screws.
Locate the iQx Over Bridge Trim Cover Right (p/n:1453-00092) and install it over top of the iQx Overbridge End Cap and secure with Qty. (2) M3 {THRD FRMG} x 10mm Phil Pan-HD STL BLK-OX (p/n:1301-00094).
Locate the iQ Over Bridge End Cap Left (p/n:1453-00093) and insert End Cap into the iQx Over Bridge Extrusion left-hand side. Secure with Qty. (4) M4 {THRD FRMG} x 16mm PHIL PAN-HD STL Zinc screws (p/n:1301-00095)
Locate the iQx Overbridge Trim Cover Left (p/n:1453-00091) and install over top of the iQx Overbridge End Cap Left and secure with Qty. 2) M3 {THRD FRMG} x 10mm Phil Pan-HD STL BLK-OX (p/n:1301-00094).
