This document describes the required steps for deploying an On-Premises Telos Alliance License Server
Limitations
In this version, the on-prem server has the following limitations:
Changes to the syslog server address and to the backup server address require a server restart before they take effect. Due to the resilient design of the system, a server restart is a safe operation, the products will continue to run if the server is restarted.
The server works best with permanent licenses or licenses with an explicit expiration date (e.g., expiring on December 31, 2031).
For products using Telos Alliance ID, the on-prem server does not send emails to confirm the email provided. Instead, it uses a confirmation code configured in the server (by default this is "123456").
The on-prem server does not yet collaborate with the cloud license server. The products should be configured to use the on-prem server by configuring the on-prem server's address in the product and removing the address of the cloud server from the product.
