To provide redundant power, either an Axia Console Power Supply unit (2001-00375) or an Axia Console Backup Power Supply (2001-00277) is required. Both of these PSU units look exactly the same and are the same size as a QOR.16. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/57e3cd80-d493-453c-9672-ad1b043dadc3/Images/Documentation/946928ab-cd2e-4344-b617-9fc2aeb8c299-image.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-11-07T18%3A04%3A58Z&se=2026-11-07T19%3A04%3A58Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=vSCrwBxSogsiITsjMVS%2BWEZOdd09LDYU%2BCeef0XZIiM%3D) ### Providing Backup Power When purchased new, each of these supplies ships with a D-Sub to D-sub 3-foot power cable. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/57e3cd80-d493-453c-9672-ad1b043dadc3/Images/Documentation/2eaa6df3-a8c5-4e04-907d-da3ad4ae45dc-image.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-11-07T18%3A04%3A58Z&se=2026-11-07T19%3A04%3A58Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=vSCrwBxSogsiITsjMVS%2BWEZOdd09LDYU%2BCeef0XZIiM%3D) If a new cable is needed because it's been misplaced, [contact Customer Support](https://www.telosalliance.com/support-request) and ask for the price and availability of 1711-00266-100. On the back of the power supply, the 48VDC OUTPUT is clearly labeled. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/57e3cd80-d493-453c-9672-ad1b043dadc3/Images/Documentation/ac8956a7-5bdb-4c62-9768-991f786a3e07-image.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-11-07T18%3A04%3A58Z&se=2026-11-07T19%3A04%3A58Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=vSCrwBxSogsiITsjMVS%2BWEZOdd09LDYU%2BCeef0XZIiM%3D) On the back of the QOR engine, the 48VDC INPUT is clearly labeled. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/57e3cd80-d493-453c-9672-ad1b043dadc3/Images/Documentation/e0e3b509-991c-4bd6-b990-bc4dbcdf653a-image.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-11-07T18%3A04%3A58Z&se=2026-11-07T19%3A04%3A58Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=vSCrwBxSogsiITsjMVS%2BWEZOdd09LDYU%2BCeef0XZIiM%3D) Simply tightly secure each end of the power cable and the backup supply is now adding redundant power with automatic switching to the QOR-console system. > [!WARNING] > Alternatively, a PowerStation Aux can also be used to provide redundant power to a QOR engine. The extra I/O that is included in an Aux unit cannot, however, be integrated into a QOR-based system. ### Let us know how we can help If you have further questions on this topic or have ideas about improving this document, please [contact us](https://www.telosalliance.com/support-request).
