# Quasar - Network speed requirement

### SCOPE

This article applies to the Quasar console as well as the Quasar Engine

### QUESTION

What are the network speed requirements for Quasar?

### ANSWER

Both the Quasar Engine and the Quasar Console require 1 gigabit connections to the Ethernet switch and must be connected to properly configured Access ports.
