# Renaming Lines on your VSet with an Hx6 or iQ6

### Scope

Sometimes it's desired to change the name of the phones lines listed on a VSet (as well as PC client applications). This can easily be done when using an Hx6 or iQ6.

### The Process

In the units' Web UI, click on the **Setup Wizard** tab.

In the right-hand column, you will see the **Show Line Configuration** section. The default name for each line is Line 1, Line 2, etc.

Simply enter the name that you wish to appear on the VSet LCD screen for each line and hit the apply button.

The new name will display on both the VSet and any PC call screening software being used.
