Scope
This is a Telos-hosted application designed to find the closest Xirsys TURN Server and return a list of URL strings.
Description
This application, hosted on the Telos platform, is designed to identify the geographically closest Xirsys TURN (Traversal Using Relays around NAT) server. Once identified, it returns a list of corresponding TURN server URL strings that can be used for real-time communication applications requiring low-latency, reliable connection support across NAT and firewall boundaries.
Things to do
Open the following URL in a web browser:
https://xirsys-finder.telos-services.com
Enter your Xirsys API
ident
.Enter your Xirsys API
secret
.Optionally Enter your Xirsys
channel
(recommended for greatest accuracy).Click the Find TURN Servers button.
A list of URL strings will be returned from the first Xirsys TURN Server to respond in your region.
Note that for High Availability, Xirsys hosts clusters of TURN Servers in each global region. If you click the Find TURN Servers button multiple times, you are likely to receive a response from a different TURN Server in the region. This is the nature of load balancing algorithms and an expected behavior.
