They are located in each AMX instance Loudness Meter window. ### Loudness Meter There are multiple Loudness Meter links in the AERO. While they all support the same information and log files, there is a separate one for each program within an AMX instance, and for each AMX instance. The function and description for each instance is the same. ![A screenshot of a computer program Description automatically generated](https://cdn.document360.io/57e3cd80-d493-453c-9672-ad1b043dadc3/Images/Documentation/ch-h---http-server-page-image-ajmkvc7x.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-11-07T18%3A12%3A37Z&se=2026-11-07T19%3A12%3A37Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=IdU12iik7wOqS3uuI8MQG%2BxWuE8AUKtoOLnRgZK4W7o%3D) Figure 7: Loudness Meter window In the Loudness Meter window, you can start, stop, and reset the loudness meter for the respective instance, as well as download output loudness logs for the audio program. Loudness logs are measured at the output of the AERO unit, after loudness control processing has taken place. ### Task Scripts The AERO supports scripts to be built and run based on a GPI input or at a certain day and time. Task scripts can be downloaded to a computer and uploaded from a computer. This allows them to be backed up, restored, or shared between units as desired. ![A screenshot of a computer Description automatically generated](https://cdn.document360.io/57e3cd80-d493-453c-9672-ad1b043dadc3/Images/Documentation/ch-h---http-server-page-image-eayhhw4b.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-11-07T18%3A12%3A37Z&se=2026-11-07T19%3A12%3A37Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=IdU12iik7wOqS3uuI8MQG%2BxWuE8AUKtoOLnRgZK4W7o%3D) Figure 8: Task Scripts window Scripts can be built in the HTTP server’s Task Scripts editing window. The appropriate parameters are required to be included in the script. This procedure provides the easiest way to build a Task Script. **To enter an AERO parameter in a script:** 1. Launch NfRemote and the HTTP Server, so that they are running simultaneously. 2. In the HTTP server main window, click **Task Scripts**. 3. In the Task Scripts window, click **Create**. 4. Click **Update Software** in the HTTP server main window. 2. Click the **Update** button. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/57e3cd80-d493-453c-9672-ad1b043dadc3/Images/Documentation/ch-h---http-server-page-image-5r8if060.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-11-07T18%3A12%3A37Z&se=2026-11-07T19%3A12%3A37Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=IdU12iik7wOqS3uuI8MQG%2BxWuE8AUKtoOLnRgZK4W7o%3D) Figure 10: Software Update server > [!WARNING] > **Important!** When updating the software from the HTTP server, it will automatically and instantly install the updates. This means all audio processing will immediately stop, and the unit is offline until the updates are installed. Ensure that the unit is not on-air when performing a software update from the HTTP server. ### MQTT MQTT is a lightweight machine-to-machine network protocol for messaging, control, and reporting protocol between units. It is designed for connections with devices with resource constraints or limited network bandwidth, and is commonly found in applications and devices that support the Internet of Things (IoT). It is a modern and simple protocol (compared to something like SNMP) and is supported in the AERO units. The list of AERO parameters and status messages can be shared across an MQTT link for control and status monitoring. ![A screenshot of a computer Description automatically generated](https://cdn.document360.io/57e3cd80-d493-453c-9672-ad1b043dadc3/Images/Documentation/ch-h---http-server-page-image-4nvjmaik.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-11-07T18%3A12%3A37Z&se=2026-11-07T19%3A12%3A37Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=IdU12iik7wOqS3uuI8MQG%2BxWuE8AUKtoOLnRgZK4W7o%3D) Figure 11: MQTT window ### Status Overview Status Overview provides information about the AERO unit. ![A screenshot of a computer Description automatically generated](https://cdn.document360.io/57e3cd80-d493-453c-9672-ad1b043dadc3/Images/Documentation/ch-h---http-server-page-image-p1pwnlu9.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-11-07T18%3A12%3A37Z&se=2026-11-07T19%3A12%3A37Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=IdU12iik7wOqS3uuI8MQG%2BxWuE8AUKtoOLnRgZK4W7o%3D) Figure 12: Status Overview window Items reported in the window include: - Top line - AERO model - Software version - Unit location - Second line - CPU Load - Available RAM - IP Address - Host Name (which includes its serial number): - > [!NOTE] > **Note:** In the example window, a20 denotes the unit is an AERO.20; the next numbers are the serial number of the unit. - Third line - Unit Up time - Number of Remote Connections - Remote Port for NfRemote
