Dashboard Software

Introduction

Dashboard software is a convenient method for configuring the Telos Infinity intercom system from a centralized software application running on a supported Windows operating system. PC. The PC must be on the same subnet as the Telos Panels, Virtual ports, and Beltpacks.

Dashboard has previously been available in two versions, Dashboard Server and Dashboard Application. Following the release of Telos Infinity V2.0, Dashboard is now free of charge and does not need to be licensed. It is now called Infinity Dashboard Enterprise

Dashboard Enterprise is designed for users who want regular live access to Dashboard and the connected devices, such as panels and beltpacks. It is used to configure and manage systems of any size and is not limited by a licensing scheme

Dashboard Enterprise is equally suitable for occasional use where users do not require a constant connection to the intercom panels and beltpacks. Typically, this would be when users do not need to make live changes.

Dashboard Enterprise is composed of the two services: InfinityAgent.exe and InfinityHost.exe. These services will run constantly even when a browser window connected to Dashboard is closed.

User interaction with Dashboard is achieved with an HTML-5 compliant web-browser program such as FireFox or Chrome. To launch the GUI, the IP address of the PC executing Dashboard is entered into the address bar with the port number 5000. InfinityHost.exe listens on the localhost PC IP address and TCP port 5000 for HTTP (HyperText Transfer Protocol) messages, and then responds to provide the configuration and monitoring GUI.
