Web UI Settings & Diagnostics Page

The Settings & Diagnostics top-level web UI menu provides access to controls for clock synchronization and paid-option licensing, as well as diagnostic information for the DSP scheduler and AoIP-based diagnostics.

Clock Sync

The Clock Sync controls determine the primary timing reference used by the Omnia XII.

Clock Sync controls

Synchronization Mode: Selects the clock synchronization source.

  • PTP: Synchronizes the Omnia XII to an IEEE 1588 Precision Time Protocol (PTP) Grandmaster clock on the network.

  • Livewire: Synchronizes the Omnia XII to a designated Livewire Clock Master on the AoIP network.

  • GPS 10MHz: Synchronizes the Omnia XII to an external 10 MHz reference connected to the unit's hardware BNC clock input.

  • Internal Only: Uses the Omnia XII's internal clock as its timing reference rather than an external synchronization source.

PTP Domain: Selects the PTP domain used for clock synchronization. The PTP domain provides logical separation of PTP traffic when multiple clock domains are present on the same network.

Licensing

The Licensing controls allow you to configure license servers and add or remove licenses for paid options.

Example Licensing controls and displays

Servers

  • Servers Address: Provides a field to enter the address of a license server.

  • Add Server: Adds the server entered in Servers Address to the list.

  • Address: Lists the license servers that have been added.

  • Remove: Removes the corresponding license server.

Configuration

  • Node name: Displays the identifier associated with the Omnia XII unit. Use this name when obtaining a license file for the unit.

Licenses

  • License: Provides a field to enter or paste a license for a paid option.

  • Add License: Adds the license entered in License. Adding a Watermarking license requires a restart to activate the license.

  • Licenses: Lists the installed licenses and provides a Remove button for licenses that can be removed.

    • Feature: Lists the features included with the license.

    • Count: Displays the number of active instances for the feature.

    • Expires: Displays the license expiration date or Never when the feature does not expire.

    • Remove: Removes the corresponding license. The OMNIAXII-BASE-HW license cannot be removed.
