System Admin and User Client

Varying levels of permissions are provided through the user rights functions.

System Admin

Also called “Sys Admin”, or just “Admin” for short. This is for the top-level person(s) in charge. The Admin creates user accounts and assigns them to the appropriate level. They also create systems, zones, store and recall scenes, and configure any resource in the system.

Through the Admin tab, the Sys Admin can assign a variety of permissions to users and Groups to provide more granular rights, these include:

  1. System Admins

  2. User Admins

  3. Scene Admins

  4. Zone Admins

  5. Manage Group

  6. Manage IFB

  7. Manage Partyline

  8. Manage Device

  9. Manage Sources

As well as creating and defining presets with Scenes, the Sys Admin can assign specific Scenes to users and Groups. This is also true of Zones. Using Zones and Scenes in this way empowers the Sys Admin to restrict control to specific users but at the same time giving them autonomy to complete their jobs efficiently.

User Client

The User Client refers to a designated system login that is determined by the System Administrator and enables a person to connect to the configuration tool via any HTML5 supported browser. User Clients can be assigned Admin, Operator, Technician, and Engineer rights depending on their job and operational needs.
