Maintenance Page
Selecting the “Maintenance” page will provide a method for updating the Telos Infinity INF-MP-16 software and some factory reset and self-test features.
Firmware Update
The INF-MP-16 has two memory banks to store firmware. Only one can be active, and the other is used to download the new firmware. If the firmware fails for any reason, the other bank can be enabled to provide a seamless roll-back function.
Upload New Firmware
Launches a GUI to allow the new firmware file to be loaded into the unused memory bank.
Run this version
Used to switch from the active bank to the inactive bank. Clicking Run this version will generate a GUI that presents the option to reboot the Panel and make the inactive bank the active bank.
Active
Active is used to denote the current running version
Additional Maintenance
This provides a convenient method to remotely diagnose an INF-MP-16 Panel.
Reboot
Remotely reboot the INF-MP-16. The Panel will become temporarily unresponsive to the browser during reboot.
Self-test
Remotely self-test the INF-MP-16. The Panel will become temporarily unresponsive to the browser during self-test.
Factory Reset
Performs full remote factory reset. This will require entering a new IP address and will be unresponsive to the browser until the new IP address is entered using the front-Panel menu options.
Factory Reset Except IP
Performs full remote factory reset but keeps the existing IP address configuration.
Download Log
In the unlikely event that you should need support from Telos engineers, they may ask you to download the log file and email it to them for added support.
Activating a Link License
License keys are available from your Telos representative to provide additional functionality. The following describes how to enable a “Link” license.
Open the web browser, enter the IP address of the device. When prompted for the user name and password, this defaults to “user” for the username, and nothing to be entered for the password field.
From the home page, click on the “Maintenance” tab and the software update and licensing window appears.
Enter the license key into the license-key window and if this is recognized as a valid key, the “Activate” button will be enabled. Click “Activate” to then activate the license.
The “Disable” button allows the licenses to be deactivated from the panel or beltpack and moved to another panel or beltpack.
Remote
Selecting remote from the home screen provides a live GUI display of the front panel operation. Any controls operated from the panel are reflected in this display. Using the mouse pointer, any of the user controls can be operated from the GUI and their status is reflected on the user panel. For example, if the user rotates the “Vol” control on the panel, the volume display will change on the GUI. If a user selects the first “push to talk” button, the button will illuminate red on both the GUI and the panel. Also, the microphone will be live.
