ARC’s front panel features include:

  • Four status LEDs indicating the status of each power supply (A, B), the overall status of the unit (C), and sync for the reference clock (D).

  • A color LCD display to show status and basic configuration parameters (E)

  • A five-button navigation cluster with Left, Right, Up, and Down arrows plus a green “OK” button (F)

Basic configuration and status monitoring can be performed using the front panel controls as outlined in the section on Installation and Initial Setup. Connecting to ARC via the web-based user interface as outlined in the section on using the Remote User Interface provides easier navigation and full control of the unit.

The rear panel of ARC contains the following connections:

  • One parallel GPI/O control port (female DB-15) for five inputs and five outputs (A)

  • One AES-3 Input (B) and one AES-3 Output (C) on female BNC connectors

  • One SDI 3Gb/s HD/SD-SDI Input (E) and 3Gb/s HD/SD-SDI Output (D) on female BNC connectors

  • Two RJ-45 Gigabit Ethernet connections, one for AES67 I/O (F) and one for network remote control (G)

  • Two IEC power inlets for the internal redundant universal auto-ranging power supplies (H, I)
