How do I login to Forza?

Scope

This help document pertains to the Omnia Forza HDS and Omnia Forza FM audio processing applications, these can be deployed within a docker container.

Description

When you initially launch Forza HDS or the FM container, a login screen will appear. This document guides you through the process of logging in for the first time and managing your login accounts.

Login with TelosCare ID

If you have an existing TelosCare ID, please use the email address and password associated with the TelosCare ID to login for the first time

If you forgot the password to your TelosCare ID, please select “Forgot Password” and follow the instructions to reset your password

If you do not have a TelosCare ID, please select “Register for your TelosCare ID” and follow the instructions

What is a TelosCare ID?

Currently, TelosCare ID is used as an authentication method for several Telos Alliance containerized products, including this one

There is no cost associated with create a TelosCare ID, and multiple TelosCare ID’s can be registered for your different end-users if desired

Do I have to use a TelosCare ID to login?

For the first time, yes, you will need to login to Forza using the TelosCare ID.

After the first time, you can setup local user accounts or add additional TelosCare ID’s to be allowed for login

How can I setup local accounts?

  1. Once logged in, click on the User icon in the upper right corner of the web gui

  2. This will take you to the logout page

  3. When you are at the logout page, click on the User icon again.  Now a menu appears, select Users

  4. You should now see the Users page.  Your TelosCare ID will be the only listed “Global” account.
    Click the Add button

  5. You will be presented with two dialog boxes.  Use the left dialog box to create a local user
    It is possible to create a Local User account without a password (not recommended)

  6. After adding the account you are taken back to the Users page
    You can add additional accounts, or remove them.  There is no reason to remove the TelosCare ID as a valid login account.  We suggest that you keep this account if ever needed

That’s it. You should now be able to logout and login with the local account you just created

How can I add other TelosCare ID’s to be allowed to login to Forza?

The first TelosCare ID used to login to Forza is automatically added as an allowed account

If you have more TelosCare IDs that you want to use for logging into Forza, please follow the same steps in “How can I setup local accounts?” However, in step 5, enter the email address linked to the Telos Care ID under Global Account, instead of creating a local account.
