Hello!

Thank you for choosing to evaluate, or acquire our latest effort, Omnia XII. This processor is a labor of love, and the culmination of considerable effort from a dedicated loyal team! Although, many years ago, our processors grew from the thoughts and ideas that I had been crafting since the mid 1980s, in the engineering shop at Z-100, WHTZ-FM in New York City. That signature ‘sound’ on 100.3 FM, was the genesis for what became The Cutting Edge Vigilante, and even today, it’s the foundation of what Omnia processors have become.

That said, each of our products have been the refinement of what ruled NYC back in the day, and as I’m told, still rules the airwaves in the world’s number one market today! Omnia XII carries that legacy forward, and we are very proud to share it with you now! While you will learn of the many processing advancements, as you embark upon this journey, my excitement is more than just what’s in this product. It’s the result of a carefully executed plan, to ensure that Omnia processors will always carry our efforts forward. You see, Omnia XII is the result of contributions from multiple crew members, not just me. The architecture of this processor was developed by a team who not only fully understand the ‘sound’ of Omnia, but also understand what the marketplace requires.

I’m excited to share how this team crafted a new approach to the dynamics sections inside Omnia, and coupled with our new ‘back end’ limiting system, it enables a fresh step forward in delivering quality audio, along with a competitive signature. Add to this the utilities broadcasters demand, and a powerful technical platform that will remain viable for years to come.

In listening to Omnia XII, I’m humbled more than you may understand. Reason being, is there is a touch of numerous processing ‘get it guys’ inside this box, and I want to dedicate it to them, as their influence upon me, helped shape what you’re about to hear. Unfortunately, and it’s heavy in my heart, they have all passed on, with the exception of one, but their own legacies live on with me, and now Omnia XII. So, to the souls of Jim Somich, Glen Clark, Matt Conner, Gary Blau, Jim Loupas, and my brother-from-another-mother Steve Church, this is for you!! Additionally, I also wish to thank Mike Dorrough for his inspiration over the years as well. There’s a bit of each of those folks, as well as the basis of Z-100, in what this newest Omnia processor has become.

Carry on….
