Scope
With the FCC Cybersecurity rule mandating that most remotely managed broadcast equipment support passwords of at least 15 characters, Telos often receives questions regarding our products’ compliance.
The Z/IP ONE password can contain 15 characters.
How to Update
You can update your Z/IP ONE password via the System tab in the Web GUI:
Please note that despite the suggestion of a length of 5 to 8 characters, the Z/IP ONE fully supports passwords that are 15 characters or longer.
Simply type the new password in both fields and hit Apply.
A new password prompt will appear, where you can enter your updated credentials. “User” will rename the username.
