Version 2.0 Release Notes

Version 2.0 beta testing is ONLY available to customers who have worked with support to upgrade the Pathfinder Core PRO licenses to Key9 licenses.

Note: Please review the What’s New in 2.0 section to understand the 2.0 changes. These release notes only reflect changes between last alpha testing and the beta testing versions. There are a large number of feature changes outlined in the What’s new section that are not in these release notes. 2.0 is a major update from 1.10.x. Also please remember that the documentation on 2.0 is still a changing work in progress.

• Notes about 2.0 versioning:

  • 2.0 will be a free upgrade for existing vm and hardware users when it becomes available, but will require an update to a key9 license.  

  • Running the containerized version of 2.0 requires a key9 license.  

  • New features added after 2.0 will also require a current SLA.

• Feature notes:

  • Changes From 1.10.xx

    • All changes from master branch up through 1.10.17

  • Logic Flows

    • Flow shapes no longer grow taller to fit their text. Every card now keeps a fixed height, and text that's too long is trimmed with an ellipsis instead of wrapping.

    • Start and end shapes always split their name across two lines — the part before the # on top, the part after it below (the # is dropped) — so endpoint labels stay readable.  

    • A property and its value now always sit together on one line.  

    • New Zoom Calibration item on the canvas right-click menu: a short modal explains the zoom setting and lets you change it. The value is saved per browser, so the same person can run the site on two computers with different settings.  

    • Editor polish: better top spacing, cleaner endpoint placement, a right-click menu, and Place at side.

  • NTP warning banner

    • The banner now runs the full width of the screen instead of sitting in a card-sized box.  

    • You can now dismiss it permanently. Once dismissed, it stays hidden on every page, remembered per browser.  Clearing browser cache will reset this value.

  • Support Link

    • The serial number no longer shows an error on container builds.  

    • Fixed the button text overflowing its button.  

    • Added a friendly name to the Support Link dialogs

  • Containers

    • The hostname Edit button is now hidden on container builds, where the hostname isn't editable.
