I can't rack two xNodes together with the L Bracket

Scope

This document pertains to the adjoining "L" bracket and hardware that is needed to mount two xNodes together in just one rack unit of space.

For an overview on how to rack two xNodes side-by-side, click here.

L Bracket Issue

Occasionally, we have found that xNodes are sent out with the shoulder screws screwed into the incorrect side of the L Bracket.

This is how the L Bracket and screws should look. Notice has the "L" extension of the bracket is facing upwards.

If the L Bracket looks like the picture below, it will not be able to join two xNodes together. Again, notice how the "L" extension is facing.

The Fix

If the four screws are mounted on the incorrect side of the bracket, they can easily be unscrewed and switched to the other side. Once the shoulder screws are on the correct side (as in the first picture above), two xNodes can easily be joined together and installed in one rack space.
